Jihad 663 - test pressing (?)

In February, 2015, I received the following information from Jean-Michel Van Schouwburg about a copy of Sonny’s Time Now which seemed to differ from the one shown above from the London Jazz Colelctor site:

“On my copy, the label is white and thin and printed with the same lettering as the red labels shown on the London Collector website.

The black cover lettering and photos are identical to the original but not in hard cardboard like the very first ESP LPs were; it is a soft cover of light cardboard.

Also the Run out matrix info is engraved: on side A : 663 A , on side B : 663 B and also just before these marks on the Run Out side , there are these signs on both sides : ^^

It seems to me that it could be a test pressing or an unknown reissue.

The paper of the white label is quite thin , so you can see the black colour of the vinyl through the label. On side B, a bit of the label’s paper was pasted on the side.

The sound is not clear, a bit like the Japanese issue that I own.”
